Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 12, 2026 · Last Updated: August 14, 2026Rainy Station is a survival horror game developed by Antagrio. We respect your privacy completely. This policy explains exactly what data the game accesses, why, and what it does with it.
The game is available on iOS, macOS, Android, and Windows PC. The same privacy practices apply across all platforms.
We do not collect any of the following:
The game saves two small configuration files on your device so it can remember your preferences and progress between sessions:
settings.cfg — language, volume levels, look sensitivity and Y-axis invert, brightness, graphics quality preset, touch control display mode and opacity, difficultyprogress.cfg — which chapter you have reached and your best free-mode scoreThe single-player story and free mode do not require an internet connection. All game content — environments, audio, story — is bundled with the app. If you never open the co-op menu, the game makes no outbound network requests at all.
When you open the co-op menu, the game fetches a room list over an encrypted HTTPS
connection from edge.antagrioin.com. The response contains only the room
name, its port, how many players are in it, how many zombies are alive, and how long
it has been running. It contains no information about any player.
If you join a room, your device connects to a game server operated by Antagrio and exchanges the data needed to keep the shared world in sync:
That is the complete list. Nothing is sent that could identify you, and nothing is read from your device and transmitted.
Any internet connection necessarily reveals your IP address to the server you are connecting to — this is how the internet routes data back to you. We want to be precise about what we do with it.
We do not link IP addresses to individuals, and because the game has no accounts, we have no way to do so.
Rainy Station does not integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, social login, or data collection.
Our room list is served through Cloudflare, which provides the HTTPS certificate and forwards the request to our server. Cloudflare therefore processes the connection data (including your IP address) as part of delivering that request. The co-op game servers are ours and are not behind Cloudflare.
The game is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Those storefronts have their own privacy policies that govern the download and installation process. We have no access to data those platforms may collect independently.
On Android the game declares the INTERNET permission. It is used only for
the co-op features described in section 4. If you do not play co-op, no connection is made.
The game plays background music and sound effects. On Android, this may request
MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS to manage audio focus. The microphone is never
accessed or recorded.
On mobile devices the game uses on-screen touch controls. This requires standard touchscreen input only — no gesture data is stored or transmitted.
The settings and progress files are written to the app's private directory. No access to external storage, shared files, or the user's documents is requested.
Because Rainy Station collects no personal information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children. The game complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations worldwide.
Co-op play is shared gameplay only. There is no chat, no usernames, and no way for one player to send text, images, audio, or any other content to another, so the mode carries no risk of contact from strangers beyond seeing another character move in the world.
Please note that Rainy Station contains horror themes and is intended for audiences aged 12 and above.
Because no personal data is collected or stored on our systems, traditional data rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) do not apply in the usual sense. However:
All locally saved preferences and progress are stored within the app's sandboxed directory, inaccessible to other applications on the device.
The room list is fetched over HTTPS (TLS). Co-op gameplay uses a real-time UDP connection that is not encrypted — this is a deliberate trade-off for responsiveness, and it is safe here because those packets carry nothing but in-game coordinates and state. No personal information, credentials, or file contents are ever transmitted by the game.
If we update this privacy policy (for example, when adding new game features), we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
